Space Force Flag Donated to Santa Maria VA Clinic

The American Legion Vandenberg Post 125 recently donated a U.S. Space Force flag to the Santa Maria Veterans Affairs Clinic. Post Commander Andy Wulfestieg noticed the clinic was missing this flag and rallied his post to purchase and present it.
Given the post’s strong ties to Vandenberg Space Force Base, members felt it was their duty to ensure the Space Force was represented alongside other military branches. Vandenberg was officially designated a Space Force base in 2021, highlighting the growing importance of this newest military branch.
This donation reflects the American Legion’s longstanding commitment to supporting veterans and the VA. The organization advocates for quality healthcare and funding for veterans.
